The data is collected via means of building access control and covers all forms of days during term/ recess and Bank Holiday/ Privilege days

The data is compared to total desks available per service area with some service areas having non-desk based staff included. These desk space numbers reflect the changes undertaken recently to significantly reduce the Commission staff areas in order to be able to accommodate offices and space for 36 additional Members and their staff from May 2026.

The data is for Commission staff only and does not include Members of the Senedd and their staff, Welsh Government employees or onsite Contractors
