Will the Minister confirm when class 170 trains will start running on the Heart of Wales line?

Transport for Wales will not be operating the Class 170s on the Heart of Wales line. Class 153 trains will continue to operate on this route. Transport for Wales are currently refurbishing additional Class 153 trains that will also be used on this route to provide increased bicycle storage and greater passenger capacity.
