What action is the Welsh Government taking to address rough sleeping?

In Wales, our ‘no-one left out’ policy continues to be in place and has supported more than 23,000 people experiencing homelessness with accommodation and support since March 2020.

We continue to work closely with local authorities to ensure accommodation is provided for everyone who needs it.

As outlined in our Ending Homelessness Action Plan, which was published in November 2021, we want to prevent homelessness in the first place. This financial year, we have provided more than £197m for homelessness prevention and housing support, together with a record £310m for social housing, which supports our ambition to end homelessness by making it rare, brief and unrepeated.
