In light of the Welsh Government's decision not to fund essential repairs to the B5605 at Newbridge, Wrexham, under the flood repairs fund, will the Minister provide immediate funding to ensure that the necessary repairs are made given the road's strategic importance in dealing with closures to the nearby A483?

The B5605 is the responsibility of Wrexham County Borough Council. We are currently in discussion with the Council to explore the potential for funding the works from our Resilient Roads Fund this financial year. As soon as we receive details of cost and programme from the Council, we will be in a position to consider the request for funding.
