Will the Minister make a statement on the total Veterans NHS Wales budget for the current financial year and confirm what proportion of this is recurring?

The recurrent budget for Veterans NHS Wales is £920,000 per annum. This figure includes an additional £235,000 annually from 2021/22 onwards which is an increase of 35% on the previous year’s funding.
In addition to creating highly specialist Veterans Clinical Lead posts within the service, the additional annual funding from 2021/22 maintained the provision of psychological therapy across Wales previously supported by Help for Heroes grant funding.
