Will the Minister provide an update on the Welsh Government's plans to publish a new cancer recovery plan?

The Welsh Government is not publishing a cancer recovery plan. Guidance on the recovery of cancer services is included in the quarterly NHS planning framework and health boards have local plans that respond to this guidance.
The Welsh Government committed in March to publishing a successor approach to the Cancer Delivery Plan for Wales, which comes to an end in December 2020. The pandemic has delayed this work and a further announcement will be made when a decision has been taken on the format of the successor approach.
