Will the Minister provide an update on routine COVID-19 testing for NHS staff?

Protecting the NHS is at the heart of our Covid response and is a clear priority in our Testing Strategy published in July. Work is ongoing with other devolved administrations and the UK government about the development of new testing technologies, including lateral flow devices.
NHS staff are a clear priority for these tests, alongside protecting those in care homes, and we are progressing work with Public Health Wales and the NHS about how to use these for patient-facing staff.
