In light of the Minister’s response to the CCERA Committee on marine protected area management, will the Minister provide an updated timetable for a consultation on the high-risk aspects of the Assessing Welsh Fisheries Activities Project and a progress-update on the additional assessments being produced by Natural Resources Wales?
The outstanding assessments have been prioritised by officials with a further 14 scheduled to be delivered by Natural Resources Wales by March 2021. Progress continues on necessary preparatory work prior to consultation though the twin challenges of EU Exit and Covid-19 mean I am unable to provide a set timeline for consultation on the high-risk aspects of the Assessing Welsh Fisheries Activities Project.
