Will the Minister provide comparative information on Welsh Government spend and investment during this Assembly term, to include performance indicators and outcomes broken down by region and/or local authority area?

Answered by Minister for Finance and Trefnydd Answered on 22/01/2020

The Welsh Government budget sets out our allocations of funding:

In 2016 we published Taking Wales Forward, a five-year programme for government. It outlined our key priorities for delivering improvements to our economy and public services; for creating jobs and prosperity and to improve the well-being for everyone living in Wales. The series of measures were aimed at making a difference for everyone, at every stage in their lives, providing stability for our core services whilst taking tangible steps to deliver our ambitions for our country.

Chapter three of the Draft Budget Narrative 2020-21 provides details on the key achievements in delivering our programme for government and chapter six outlines how we are investing against the Government priorities. Over this Assembly term the government has maximised the available resources to support delivery of its key pledges.

Details on the national indicators, which demonstrate progress towards our 7 well-being goals, are available on the Welsh Government website:
