As there is a need to provide more housing land, will the Cabinet Secretary clarify how long will it take for recommendations from the current call for evidence due to end on 10 October to be published and implemented?

As set out in my Written Statement on 18 July, the ‘call for evidence’ is the initial part of the wide-ranging review into the delivery of housing through the planning system. The aim of the ‘call for evidence’ is to identify ways the planning system can assist in increasing the delivery of new homes in sustainable locations. I will decide how to take the review forward based on the responses from stakeholders to the ‘call for evidence’.
