This Senedd:
1. Notes the profound impact of leukaemia on individuals and families across Wales, with around 400 people diagnosed each year.
2. Recognises concerns about delays in diagnosis, unequal access to treatment, and inconsistent outcomes across Wales.
3. Notes the report ‘Turning Ambition into Progress for People with Leukaemia in Wales’ by Leukaemia UK and its practical recommendations to improve care.
4. Calls for action to ensure earlier diagnosis, equitable access to world-class treatment and care, and stronger leadership, accountability and data collection.
5. Acknowledges the experiences of affected families and supports efforts to improve outcomes for all patients affected by leukaemia.
