National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Notes that 23 June 2026 marks ten years since the people of Wales and the UK voted decisively to leave the EU.
2. Believes that the referendum result reflected a clear desire for national sovereignty, secure borders and democratic accountability.
3. Regrets continuing attempts by sections of the political establishment to undermine this democratic mandate.
4. Encourages both the Welsh Government and the UK Government to work constructively to maximise the benefits of Brexit.
5. Calls on the Welsh Government to respect the will of the Welsh people and focus on securing a prosperous future for Wales outside the EU.
