National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Welcomes the opportunity to celebrate Clean Air Day on 18 June 2026.
2. Notes that almost 2,000 people still die early every year in Wales due to air pollution.
3. Notes the work of Healthy Air Cymru to raise awareness of the dangers of air pollution.
4. Welcomes the implementation of targets for PM2.5 and at least one other pollutant by the end of 2026.
5. Calls on the Welsh Government to aim for WHO level targets so the people of Wales can breath clean air.
