National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Pays tribute to the courage of the Iranian people seeking an end to oppression.
2. Condemns human rights abuses and calls for the immediate release of all the people detained for exercising their right to protest.
3. Urges the UK Government to work with international partners to protect human rights and secure fundamental freedoms for the Iranian people.
4. Expresses solidarity with those in Wales unable to contact loved ones in Iran due to the ongoing digital blackout.
5. Condemns the violent crackdown by the Iranian authorities, including mass arrests and the reported killing of over 500 protesters.
