National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Welcomes the opportunity to celebrate Clean Air Day on 19 June 2025.
2. Notes that almost 2,000 people still die early every year in Wales due to polluted air.
3. Calls on the Welsh Government to implement all measures provided by the Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) (Wales) Act 2024 - including measurable targets for pollutants - and a ban on idling, during this Senedd term.
