This Senedd:
1. Notes that May is Coeliac Awareness Month, an opportunity to raise awareness of a serious autoimmune condition affecting one in 100 people in Wales.
2. Regrets that two thirds of people living with the condition remain undiagnosed, leaving approximately 20,000 people in Wales at risk of long-term health complications.
3. Welcomes the work of Coeliac UK in improving diagnosis rates and support for people living with the condition, including through the provision of gluten-free food on prescription.
4. Calls on the Welsh Government to adopt the coeliac clinical pathway to improve diagnosis and ongoing management of the condition.
