National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:

1. Recognises the value of religious and theological education to society in combating misinformation, hate and division.

2. Believes that there is a need to protect in-person religion and theology courses in Welsh universities due to unique opportunities for students to interact with those reading other subjects, such as journalism, and studying for careers in influential roles that can promote community cohesion and transformation.

3. Calls upon the Welsh Government to work with the higher education sector in Wales to protect in-person religion and theology courses in Wales.
