This Senedd:
1. Welcomes the opportunity to celebrate World Asthma Day on 6 May 2025.
2. Notes that 590,000 (16.4 per cent) people in Wales are suspected to be living with asthma.
3. Notes that in Asthma and Lung UK’s survey less than a quarter of asthma patients receive recommended basic care.
4. Calls on the Welsh Government to invest in diagnostics, expand community respiratory teams, and improve access to pulmonary rehabilitation.
