National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:

1. Notes the Programme of Government commitment to a new National Park for north-east Wales.

2. Recognises that a new National Park will provide a much sought-after blend of economic, environmental, social, and local benefits to north-east Wales.

3. Recognises that through designation, the area will benefit from the highest levels of nature conservation and protection.

4. Encourages the Welsh Government to outline the funding model for the National Park.

5. Supports the creation of a new National Park for north-east Wales
