1. Notes that St David’s Hall is seen as a national concert hall for Wales.
2. Welcomes the cross-party support for St David’s Hall to continue as a world-class venue.
3. Notes that restricted public finances since 2010 have had a significant impact on the ability of local authorities to sustain arts and culture venues like St David’s Hall.
4. Recognises the cultural importance of the diversity of events currently presented at St David’s Hall, and the need for this to continue to enrich the artistic life of Cardiff and Wales.
