This Senedd:
1. Notes the findings of the sixth evaluation report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
2. Notes that coal is the single largest source of global temperature rise.
3. Welcomes the Global Coal to Clean Power Transition Statement signed during the UK’s COP26 presidency.
4. Regrets comments by the UK Prime Minister about renewing the UK’s extraction and burning of coal.
5. Calls on the Welsh Government to reiterate its opposition to coal extraction and burning.
