This Senedd:
1. Notes that it is 40 years since the 1982 Nuclear Free Wales Declaration, when all eight county councils passed resolutions declaring their opposition to nuclear weapons in Wales.
2. Recognises the importance of grassroots campaigns in light of continued nuclear weapons proliferation.
3. Recognises the vital work carried out by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament in campaigning for peace.
4. Celebrates the statement of resistance made by the eight Welsh councils and endorses their desire for a nuclear weapons-free Wales.
5. Calls on all states to sign and ratify the United Nations Nuclear Ban Treaty.
