This Senedd:

1. Welcomes the publication of a new guide for retailers on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in their supply chains.

2. Notes that the guide was produced by the Welsh Retail Consortium and its sister organisations across the UK as part of the industry’s net zero roadmap, which is designed to assist the retail sector to decarbonise stores by 2030 and, the sector’s whole operations and supply chain by 2040.

3. Further notes that the guide outlines detailed practical steps that retailers can take in collaboration with suppliers to monitor, measure, report and reduce emissions.
