What progress has the Welsh Government made in implementing the deliberate deception provisions of the Senedd Cymru (Member Accountability and Elections) Act 2026?
The Welsh Government is reviewing the conclusions of the Electoral Commission’s ‘post-poll’ report on May’s Senedd elections – particularly in respect of mis- and disinformation – and we are giving careful consideration to the most appropriate way to discharge the duty in advance of the next Senedd election.
What plans does the Welsh Government have to increase local procurement though cooperatives and other community-based business practices?
I want every pound we spend to deliver for Wales.
That means removing barriers and creating more opportunities for co-operatives, social enterprises and Welsh businesses.
By strengthening local supply chains, supporting good jobs and skills, and retaining more value in Wales, we can move towards our ambition of spending 70% with Wales-based suppliers.
