We recognise the critical role of our faith groups in communities, and work with those groups through the Faith Communities Forum.
What steps is the Welsh Government taking to tackle domestic violence in South Wales East?
The Welsh Government is committed to tackling domestic abuse across Wales and provides funding to all regions, including South Wales East, to commission services that respond to local need.

Will the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on the progress of the north-west Cardiff corridor rail project?
The north-west Cardiff corridor rail project is outlined in Cardiff Council’s Transport White Paper. We continue to work closely with Cardiff and other authorities on their rail aspirations, including Phase 1 of the Cardiff Crossrail project, an essential pre-cursor to any future development of the north-west Cardiff corridor scheme.
How does the Welsh Government ensure that the trunk road network is safe for all road users?
The Welsh Government takes road safety very seriously. Welsh Ministers have a duty under the Highways Act 1980 to maintain and improve the strategic highway network. To ensure the safety of the strategic road network regular inspections are undertaken. We also have our traffic officer service which attend incidents and can quickly remove vehicles and obstructions from the roadside to improve traffic safety.
How will the Bus Services (Wales) Bill benefit the bus workforce in Wales?
The Bus Services (Wales) Bill will secure the future of the bus network, benefitting the workforce and passengers. Our bus reform plans, delivered in social partnership with trade unions and the bus industry, will help maintain and build an inclusive and diverse workforce.
Will the Cabinet Secretary outline his priorities for Wales's transport network for the remainder of the Senedd?
Connecting communities is a government priority. Our Transport Strategy, Llwybr Newydd, sets out our vision to improve transport across Wales. We are transforming our railways, delivering a better bus network, fixing our roads and empowering local communities with each region setting its own transport priorities in their Regional Transport Plan.
