What is the Welsh Government's strategy regarding preventable cancers?

A Healthier Wales, our overarching strategy for health and care, sets out the vision and direction to create a system that prevents the onset of poor health and disease, identifies and intervenes early where disease occurs, and provides active support to keep people healthy and maintain independence.

What action is the Welsh Government taking to support disabled people into employment?

We provide employability and skills support programs which help disabled people find employment.  These are accessible through Working Wales.  In addition, our Disabled People’s Employment Champions and Business Wales Advisors work with employers to encourage the recruitment and retention of disabled workers.  This complements DWP responsibilities in this area.

What steps is the Welsh Government taking to support apprenticeship providers?

Welsh Government is supporting apprenticeship providers by protecting the apprenticeship budget at £144m despite the loss of European funding. Welsh Government’s core funding for apprenticeships has increased substantially over the period of this government.
