What is the Welsh Government doing to build stronger communities in Preseli Pembrokeshire?
The First Minister has travelled the length and breadth of Wales, meeting and speaking with people in their own communities. Their priorities have been placed at the heart of the Government’s work programme: iechyd da—a healthier Wales, jobs and green growth, opportunity for every family and connecting communities.
What steps is the Welsh Government taking to tackle poverty amongst women in South Wales East?
We’re determined to do all we can to tackle poverty, including amongst women in south-east Wales, and to help those who need support the most. Our childcare offer continues to give parents, in particular women, more choice and a greater ability to have both a family and a career.
What action is the Welsh Government taking to support pensioners?
The Welsh Government is investing in supporting pensioners across Wales. These include investment in the regional integration fund, funding for the warm hubs, raising awareness of pension credit and other benefits, measures to end abuse, and the creation of age-friendly communities.
How many genders does the Welsh Government recognise?
The Welsh Government LGBTQ+ action plan defines gender as a term that is used to refer to whether someone’s internal sense of themselves is female, male or non-binary. People’s gender does not always align with the sex they were assigned at birth.

How much has the Welsh Government invested in capital expenditure on the trunk road network in Conwy and Denbighshire since May 2021, and what is the planned capital investment over the next 12 months?
I am unable to provide expenditure on the trunk road network by local authority area as our finance systems do not hold information in this format. However, our trunk road agents would be able to provide this, given adequate time. I will write to you in due course. There is circa £60 million of planned capital investment across north Wales in the next 12 months.
How is the Welsh Government ensuring that residents of South Wales West have access to bus services?
We have provided over £15 million this financial year to local authorities in South Wales West to safeguard key local bus services. As part of the preparations for bus franchising, Transport for Wales and local authorities are working to develop a new comprehensive bus network plan for the region.
