Will the First Minister make a statement on the importance of library services in communities in South Wales East?

I recognise the importance of library services to all communities in Wales. In addition to free access to books, information and e-resources, local libraries are valuable community hubs providing access to digital technology, support for health and well-being, and safe warm spaces for everyone.

How is the Welsh Government ensuring the expansion of renewable energy that benefits local residents?

More renewable energy will boost UK energy security and support a sustainable future for businesses and households in Wales. We are supporting action to retain benefit in Wales through guidance on local ownership, through our wholly owned developer Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru and our £10 million investment in communities by Ynni Cymru.

How will the Welsh Government support charities and third-sector organisations in Arfon facing financial difficulties following the increase in national insurance?

Our third sector support Wales grant provides core funding to Wales Council for Voluntary Action and county voluntary councils to enable third sector organisations access to support that includes identifying potential funding opportunities. In addition, where eligible, charities may also be able to claim employer national insurance contribution reliefs.
