What are the Welsh Government's priorities for tackling coronary heart disease?

Our priority is to prevent as much heart disease as possible, by enabling people to live healthier lifestyles and to manage risk factors like hypertension, while ensuring NHS services can provide timely access to diagnosis and treatment.

What steps is the Welsh Government taking to assist businesses with recycling?

We are rolling out the new workplace recycling regulations, which will see workplaces recycle materials in the way householders already do across the majority of Wales. To support the changes, we have created a range of resources to help workplaces prepare and raise awareness of existing best practice to recycling.

What is the Welsh Government doing to tackle inequalities in the Welsh education system?

The Welsh Government’s ambitions for education in Wales are set out in 'Our national mission: high standards and aspirations for all'. They include a commitment to equity of outcome in education for every child and young person in Wales, to ensure the success, high standards and well-being of all learners.

What is the Government doing to protect communities in South Wales East from the dangers of coal tips?

The Welsh Government has already made a significant investment in coal tip safety, including making available £44.4 million in capital to local authorities for maintenance works between 2022 and 2025. We are also modernising our legislation through the new disused tips bill, due to be introduced to the Senedd in autumn 2024.
