What consideration did the Minister give to supporting local authorities to provide youth services when allocating local authorities' budgets?

Local authorities received £5.1 billion in their settlement this year to support services. Local authorities determine how they spend this, but we expect them to provide youth services. In addition, we have allocated £10.4 million through the youth support grant specifically for youth work services.

What consideration did the Minister give to supporting community energy schemes when formulating the Welsh Government's budget for 2022-2023?

Over the next three years, the draft budget has committed £65 million for the Welsh Government energy service to support delivery of the programme for government commitments to expand renewable energy generation and innovating in renewable technology in the public sector and through community groups.

How is the Welsh Government supporting organic farming in Wales?

The Welsh Government continues to support organic farming in Wales under the EU rural development programme through Glastir Organic. An expression of interest window to a new, domestically funded scheme to support conversion to organic farming will open on 18 July.

What assessment has the Welsh Government made of the impact the UK Government's Northern Ireland protocol Bill will have on the Welsh agri-food sector?

Welsh Government cannot make an assessment until such a Bill is published. It is vital UK Government Ministers engage with us on their proposals. We anticipate direct impact will be small, however, indirect impact, as a result of any response from the European Union, may be greater.
