Further to WAQ78111 will the First Minister state what quantifiable measures the Welsh Government has put in place to assess and review the success of its work in preventing adverse childhood experiences?

To deliver on its commitment to the development of ACE aware public services, the Welsh Government has supported the establishment of the ACE Support Hub for Wales. To date the Hub’s work has focussed on raising awareness of ACEs.  To help quantify this, the Hub has

·         commissioned a survey of ACE awareness amongst public services and professionals; and

·         commissioned a public awareness campaign which will begin in June.

Quantification of ACE training has also been undertaken. The Hub has delivered training to 309 ACE ambassadors, teachers and schools leads. It has provided training for 140 Estyn inspectors and challenge advisors.  By the end of this school year all primary and secondary schools in Wales will have been offered training in ACEs.

ACE awareness training has been delivered to more than 3,200 individuals in the public service in Wales, including nearly 2,700 frontline police staff.
