Will the Minister outline the Welsh Government's long-term plans for the role of consortiums in relation to education and schools?

Regional consortia work on behalf of local authorities to lead, orchestrate and coordinate school improvement, working closely in partnership with local authorities and other agencies to promote high standards of education, build capacity and improve learner outcomes within a self-improving system.
The regional consortia will remain as one of our key partners in delivering our national mission for education in Wales. They will play a pivotal role in supporting schools with the implementation of the new curriculum.
