Will the Minister explain whether some of the £5 million allocated to Sport Wales will be invested in replacing the ski slope at Plas y Brenin, or be available to support the development of a new slope in North Wales?

I was very pleased to be able to announce recently that the Welsh Government is allocating an additional £5 million to Sport Wales to support the delivery of a range of sports facilities across Wales. From this funding £1 million will be allocated to support projects which are ready to be progressed quickly. The remaining £4 million of capital investment will be subject to an application process, details of which will be released by Sport Wales in due course.
