OPIN-2018-0082 A decade of Welsh Earth Hour campaign

This Assembly:
1) Welcomes the fact that this year marks a decade since Wales joined the global Earth Hour campaign, highlighting climate change and the need to protect our planet.
2) Congratulates WWF Cymru on its work on the campaign.
3) Notes that Welsh Government buildings were among the first in Wales to switch off their lights for the hour to mark Earth Hour.
4) Believes that Wales has a part to play to tackle climate change and protect our planet for our children and grandchildren.
