National Assembly for Wales

This Assembly:

1. Supports the contribution made to the Welsh economy by small and medium-sized enterprises.

2. Calls on the Welsh Government to:

a) scrap business rates for Welsh SMEs;
b) ensure better access to public sector procurement for Welsh firms;
c) accelerate the roll-out of superfast broadband across Wales;
d) fund the Development Bank of Wales to ensure that SMEs have the financial support they need to thrive;
e) boost footfall on the Welsh High Street by introducing more free parking; and
f) target training to ensure the Welsh workforce is equipped with the skills it needs.
