OPIN-2019-0125 Support PCS on civil service pay

This Assembly:
1. Notes the PCS ballot on industrial action to protest civil service pay.
2. Notes that the average civil service salary has lost value in the last decade.
3. Agrees that civil servants deserve a pay increase in line with PCS Union suggestions.
4. Supports efforts, including possible industrial action, to achieve a fair pay increase for civil servants.
5. Encourages PCS members to vote on possible industrial action by 29 April 2019.
