OPIN-2019-0122 Cerebral Palsy Register for Wales (e) Tabled on 04/03/2019

This Assembly:

1. Notes that cerebral palsy is the most common cause of physical disability in children, affecting one in every 400 in the UK.
2. Welcomes the launch of the cerebral palsy register for Wales.
3. Believes that services can be planned in a more efficient and effective way by being better informed about the size and distribution of the population of individuals who have cerebral palsy in Wales.
4. Calls on the Welsh Government to integrate the register within NHS Wales to ensure its longevity.
