National Assembly for Wales

This Assembly:

1. Welcomes the launch of the Wales Vision Strategy on 22 November 2018, and celebrates partners and people with sight loss working together.

2. Calls on the Welsh Government to work with health boards, patients and stakeholders to:

a) improve the nation’s eye health and end avoidable sight loss;

b) improve support across social care services; and

c) improve awareness of sight loss and create an inclusive society for all.

3. Calls on Assembly Members to work with constituents with sight loss, and to engage with the Wales Vision Strategy to deliver improvements to local support services.
