What plans does the Welsh Government have to reduce the pressures on GPs in Wales this winter?
We are committed to supporting our general practitioner workforce in Wales. Our Choose Well campaign helps inform the public to make the right choices in accessing services and our 'Train. Work. Live.' campaign has resulted in a significant increase in the number of trainee GPs coming to Wales.
Will the First Minister make a statement on ambulance waiting times in South Wales West?
In October 2018, 75.4 per cent of red calls in South Wales West received a response within the eight-minute target, with a standard response time of around five and a half minutes. This was the seventh consecutive month in which performance has exceeded 70 per cent in the region.
What is the Welsh Government doing to promote mental health and wellbeing for children and young people?
Improving the mental health and well-being of children and young people continues to be a priority. We invest in a range of approaches, including our recent announcement to develop a whole-school approach, which aims to make emotional health and well-being central to the way schools work.
Will the First Minister explain why no funding has so far been allocated to investing in public transport solutions to the congestion on the M4 around Newport?
We are taking significant steps to tackle congestion and improve journey time reliability across Wales, through substantial improvements to public transport, not least committing around £750 million of investment for the next phase of the south Wales metro project.
