Will the First Minister make a statement on the support offered by Business Wales to individuals and businesses?
Business Wales offers bilingual advice and support to businesses and entrepreneurs to start and grow their enterprises. Since April 2015, Business Wales has supported 24,227 businesses and entrepreneurs, created 2,888 new enterprises and supported the creation of 11,875 new jobs across Wales.
Will the First Minister make a statement on the promotion of Welsh food and drink produce?
Welsh food and drink forms one of the four Foundation Sectors within the Economic Action Plan. It is internationally recognised and is promoted extensively by the Welsh Government in partnership with the Food and Drink Industry Wales Board, businesses and Food Innovation Wales.
What action is the Welsh Government taking to tackle in-work poverty in Wales?
Decent, well-paid, fair work remains the best route out of poverty. We are supporting people into good quality jobs by increasing their employability, and delivering an economic infrastructure that supports sustainable employment for everyone, through the actions as set out within our Employability and Economic Action Plans.
What are the Welsh Government's plans for easing congestion on the A470 throughout South Wales Central?
We are taking significant steps to tackle congestion and improve journey time reliability on the A470 in South Wales Central, through our Pinch Points Programme, improvements to public transport and supporting local authorities to address key local issues that reduce congestion on the trunk road.
Will the First Minister make a statement on the proposed plan for the M4 relief road near Newport?
We expect to receive the Public Inquiry report shortly. That, plus the decision on the Statutory Orders, will be the subject of the debate and vote in this chamber before the final decision whether to proceed with construction.
Will the First Minister provide an update on the Welsh Government's efforts to develop the Parc Bryn Cegin business park in Bangor?
The development land at Parc Bryn Cegin, Bangor is being actively marketed via our commercial property agents Cooke & Arkwright, our property data base as well as Gwynedd Council.
How is the Welsh Government planning to achieve a 43 per cent reduction in vehicle emissions by 2030?
We have not committed to specific targets for sectors. Consistent with UKCCC advice, a 43 per cent reduction in transport emissions could be achievable by 2030. We are currently consulting on ideas for action across all sectors and will set out the detail in our delivery plan in March 2019.
