Will the First Minister make a statement on Welsh Government support provided to Ukrainian refugees since the invasion of their country by Russia?

We are committed to being a nation of sanctuary and we aim to ensure that all people seeking sanctuary are welcomed from day one of their arrival. We are continuing to support Ukrainian guests, helping them move on into longer term accommodation and be supported in our communities.

How does the Welsh Government tackle misinformation regarding its policies?

Misinformation is a growing threat to democracies across the world. The Welsh Government takes this seriously, as misinformation threatens to undermine the democratic process and erode people’s trust in our institutions. We take action to tackle misinformation, identifying areas where it is prevalent, and countering it through clear, positive communications approach.

What is the First Minister’s assessment of the long-term impact of universal free school meals in primary schools?

Universal primary free school meals has the potential to reduce health inequalities and help realise longer term benefits by instilling early in life healthy eating habits and attitudes that children will carry into adulthood. It will also play an important role in addressing child poverty and tackling child hunger.
