Good morning and welcome to the Culture, Welsh Language and Communications Committee. Item 1 is apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest. I don't think that I've received any apologies for this morning's meeting, but some Members may be a little late.
Eitem 2: cynnig o dan Reol Sefydlog 17.22 i ethol Cadeirydd dros dro. Fel y gwyddoch, byddaf i'n cychwyn fy nghyfnod mamolaeth yn fuan, a hwn fydd fy nghyfarfod ffurfiol olaf am y tro. Felly, hoffwn wneud cynnig o dan Reol Sefydlog 17.22 i ethol Cadeirydd dros dro ar gyfer y cyfnod y byddaf ar fy absenoldeb mamolaeth. A yw pawb felly'n hapus i ethol Helen Mary Jones, Aelod Cynulliad fel Cadeirydd dros dro?
Item 2: a motion under Standing Order 17.22 to elect a temporary Chair. As you know, I will soon be starting my maternity leave and this will be my last formal meeting for the time being. So, I'd like to propose a motion under Standing Order 17.22 to elect a temporary Chair for the duration of my maternity leave. Is everyone, therefore, content to elect Helen Mary Jones AM as temporary Chair?

Hefyd, hoffwn i jest ddiolch i chi gyd am—. Wel, nid dim ond yr Aelodau Cynulliad sydd yma ond Aelodau Cynulliad eraill sydd wedi cyfrannu hefyd at waith y pwyllgor ers i ni gychwyn ac i'r rhanddeiliaid sydd wedi dod i mewn ger ein bron ar nifer o adegau. Dwi wedi cael pleser mawr yn cadeirio pwyllgor hollol newydd gydag agenda hollol newydd, a dwi'n credu ein bod ni wedi gwthio'r agenda ar nifer o bethau gwahanol, megis darlledu, yn sicr.
Dŷn ni wedi cael Lord Hall i mewn i'r pwyllgor ar nifer o adegau ac mae pethau wedi symud yn hynny o beth gyda'r BBC. O ran ffilm, dŷn ni wedi gwneud lot o gynigion positif i'r byd ffilm sydd yn newid sgôp yr hyn sydd yn digwydd yma yng Nghymru. Hefyd, nawr, gyda'r byd cerddoriaeth, dwi'n credu bod pobl newydd sydd byth wedi dod i mewn i'r Cynulliad yma wedi gallu rhoi tystiolaeth ger ein bron—dim yr usual suspects, fel petai. Felly, dwi'n rili ddiolchgar i fod wedi gallu gwneud hyn. Yn sicr, dwi'n gobeithio bydd Helen yn mwynhau cymaint â fi. Mae'n gymaint o privilege—beth yw'r gair yn Gymraeg?
I would also like to thank you all, not just the Assembly Members in attendance, but other Assembly Members who have contributed to the committee's work since we began and to the stakeholders who have joined us on so many occasions. It's been a huge pleasure chairing an entirely new committee with an entirely new agenda, and I think that we have pushed the agenda in a number of different areas, such as broadcasting, for example.
We've had Lord Hall in this committee on a number of occasions. Things have moved with the BBC. In terms of film, we have made a number of positive proposals, which will change the scope of what's happening in Wales. And also, in terms of music, I think new people who have never been into this Assembly have been able to provide evidence to us—not the usual suspects. So, I'm extremely grateful to have been able to do this and I do hope that Helen will enjoy the role as much as I have. It is a real privilege—. What's the word in Welsh?

Yes. It's been a real privilege. But I'm also confident that Helen will do excellent work whilst I am otherwise detained, doing things that are also important, of course. So, thank you very much to everyone for their contributions.
