Dechreuodd y cyfarfod am 09:36.

The meeting began at 09:36.

1. Cyflwyniad, ymddiheuriadau, dirprwyon a datgan buddiannau
1. Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest

Croeso, bawb. I'd like to welcome Members back to committee. I hope you had a good summer break. I'll move to item 1: we have two apologies this morning, from Joyce Watson and from Bethan Sayed. If there are any declarations of interest, please do say so now.

2. Papurau i'w nodi
2. Papers to note

Right. In that case, I'll move to item 2, and we have a large number of papers to note this morning, so I'll go through them. If Members have got any comments, then please do indicate.

We have a letter from the Minister for Housing and Local Government, and this was in regard to issues that we raised in regard to our access to banking session on 3 July, providing some clarification.

2.2: we have a letter from the managing director of Grand Union Trains. That's offered some useful information. I think, at some point, when we have relevant work, it would be useful to invite him in to committee. 2.3: we have a letter from the Chair of the Children, Young People and Education Committee regarding—. If I'm right, I'm thinking this is the letter in regard to inviting us to give to her committee to give—to be part of the budget scrutiny that'll take place, and inviting Members to take part, although I'm aware that Hefin David's already a member of that committee as well. 2.4: we have a letter from the Deputy Minister for Economy and Transport regarding the foundational economy. And, if you will remember, we did have some questions regarding the foundational economy and the plan that goes with it—the enabling plan—and he has responded to that.

We have a letter from the Minister for Economy and Transport regarding the financial scrutiny for the transport portfolio. It's quite a detailed letter that raises some of the points that we raised with him earlier in the year before we broke up for summer. 2.6: we have quite a large document from Transport for Wales in regard to their communication strategy, and that's as a result of this committee asking for us to have a copy of that when it becomes available. 2.7: we have a letter from the Minister for Housing and Local Government regarding scrutiny of the chair of the National Infrastructure Commission for Wales. That's a copy of the letter that we sent to the Minister, and the response will be probably discussed at a future meeting.

2.8: we have a letter from the Minister for the Economy and Transport regarding the common UK policy framework. And that is all the letters to note. If Members have any comments, please do let me know now, otherwise I'd be grateful if Members could just indicate that they're noted for the record. Thank you.
